Open House and Parent-Teacher Conferences

I would like to cordially invite you to our Back-to-School Open House scheduled for Thursday, September 10, 2026. This evening offers you the opportunity to meet your child’s teacher so you may begin to foster a home-school relationship, which is essential to your child’s success. Your child’s teacher will explain the grade level curriculum and their expectations for your child throughout the year. Please keep in mind that this evening is for adults only. If you have specific questions about your child, please feel free to call or email your child’s teacher to set up future conferences as needed. Individual parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for December 3rd and 4^th.

Parents of students in grade 2 will meet in the Gymnasium at 6:30 pm for a brief overview and an introduction to our special area and support teachers. Parents will then be invited to their child’s classroom to meet the teacher(s) at 7:00 pm.

Parents of students in grades K-1 will go directly to their child’s classroom for the teacher(s) presentation at 6:30 pm. Parents will then be invited to the gymnasium for a brief overview and introduction to our special area and support teachers at 7:00 pm.  

*Please note that children who are in multi-grade classrooms will be contacted individually by their classroom teacher for more specific directions.

In addition, our PTA and SEPTA representatives will be available to meet you and set up memberships. We invite all families to become involved! Whether you can volunteer regularly, help with a special event, attend meetings, share your talents, or simply lend a hand when you're able, your participation makes a difference. Both the PTA and SEPTA play a vital role in supporting our students, staff, and school programs, and we welcome every family to join us in strengthening the Babylon Elementary community.
