Members of the Babylon Junior-Senior High School Art Honor Society currently have an art exhibition on display at the Pizzeria in Babylon Village. The showcase features 10x10 artworks centered around the theme of food and marks the inaugural exhibition at the newly established Ramp Gallery, a collaborative effort between the Babylon Village Arts Council (BVAC) and the Pizzeria.
An opening reception was held on April 1, drawing a crowd of students, families, and community supporters. Attendees included Babylon Schools Superintendent Carisa Manza and Babylon Village Mayor Mary Adams, who celebrated the young artists’ creativity and the partnership between the school and local organizations.
The following Art Honor Society Students have their works on display:
The exhibition will remain on view through early June, offering the community an opportunity to appreciate the talent of Babylon’s student artists.
This is not the first time Babylon’s Art Honor Society has partnered with The Pizzeria. For Youth Art Month last May, the student-artists worked to design new mascots for the business.
