Babylon High School Students Earn AP Scholar Awards

Babylon Junior-Senior High School is proud to announce that 78 students earned AP Scholar awards this year. The recognition is based on the students’ AP test scores from the 2023-2024 school year and is divided into three categories. The students and their accolades include: 

  • 31 students who qualified for the AP Scholar award by receiving scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP exams. They are John Cloherty, Lei-onna Arrington, Hayden Baudille, Hazel Bivona, Charles Bunger, Angelina Chevere, Spencer Fawess, Paul Forthmuller, John Harkins, Muhammad Hussnain, Christian Lister, Alexander Minicozzi, Ryan Mohr, Maia Reynolds, Carly Ryan, Grace Varley, Marissa Amato, Talia Baker, Emilio Cardillo-Schrader, Sophia Conti, Alexandra DiLauro, Salvatore Durler, Brooke Gengler, Timothy Golub, Maeve Graham, Aedan Hodges, Kelly Loodus, Angelina Testani, Trevor Thuma, Jake Verdi, and Sara Womack
  • 17 students who received the AP Scholar with Honor award by earning a 3.25 on all AP exams. They are Mia Arcuri, Kayla Cloherty, Bretton Coffey, Lorenzo DiNapoli, Tobin Gold, Margaret Hannon, Aidan Kistner, Caera Larkin, Nathan OFarrell, Sonia Romano, Jake Scheriff, Yuheng Zheng, Joseph Gonzalez, William Post, Leena Qamar, Talulah Bishop, and Joshua Whitlock.
     
  • 30 students who were granted the AP Scholar with Distinction award by earning an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of the exams. They are Riley Altman, Kaitlyn Brodmerkel, Jamisyn Cerny, Kathleen Channing, Brady Cunneen, Kian Donnelly, Chelsea Gersbeck, Emily Love, Jackson Maurino, Owen Morris, Olivia Muller, Charles Murphy, Andrew Ortiz, Ryan Polletta, Karian Stoehrer, Colleen Weinschenk, Gwendolyn Basile, Gideon Boyko, Kariella Curtin, Ava Hanson, Kayla Hayes, Matthew Heffer, Emily Hoberman, Aemen Iqbal, Logan Marrin, Dean McDonough, Elizabeth Orifici, Nicholas Roche, Zach Smith, and Britisha Tavera. 

“These incredible accomplishments by our AP students are a testament not only to their hard work but also to the support our schools have provided them throughout their time in Babylon,” said Superintendent of Schools Carisa Manza. “Congratulations to these bright students and their teachers, guidance counselors, and building principals.”
